12 Noon kickoff at Nokes-Lasater Field
Cumberland faces a potent ground-based attack Saturday as the Bulldogs host No. 8-ranked Reinhardt. Kickoff is set for 12 Noon with live radio coverage beginning at 11:30 a.m. on WANT FM-98.9.

Coach Donnie Suber's squad evened its record at 3-3 following last week's 54-21 home win over Kentucky Christian.

Reinhardt trailed Faulkner 21-3 last week, before exploding for a 55-27 victory.

Eagle quarterback Ryan Thompson led the charge by throwing for 347 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Eagles rallied back against Faulkner -- earning NAIA National Player of the Week honors.

Cumberland and Reinhardt have split their only two previous meetings -- a 35-28 loss to the Eagles in Lebanon last year, and a thrilling 40-28 victory in Waleska, Ga. back in 2013.

The Bulldogs are expected to be without the services of senior corner Anthony Knight (Nashville) who severely pulled a quad muscle early in last week's game. Look for sophomore Alex Campagne (Crestview, FL) to take over at right corner.

Donations for The Next Step Resource Center in Lebanon will be taken before kickoff and those bringing toiletry items or used clothing will receive 50 percent off admission.
