CU stages open house Aug. 25

Fans are encouraged to buy their tickets from Cumberland before heading to Dyersburg for the Big Rover Bowl game vs. Kansas Wesleyan became the program gets to keep any ticket money for presold tickets.

Head coach Dewayne Alexander has 130 players in camp as he begins his seventh year at the helm of the program. The Bulldogs return 14 starters, including eight on offense, and 42 letterwinners from last years 7-3 club. The CU program is the winningest college football team in the state of Tennessee over the last two years, posting a 15-6 overall record.

Freshman take part in orientation on Friday and Saturday before classes begin on Monday, August 27.
