CU women trounce Spelman

Jasmine Taylors jumper with 10:09 remaining in the first half cut CUs lead to 18-15, but Josette Campbell answered with a 3-pointer for the Bulldogs, starting the 16-0 run that was ended with a pair of three-point plays by Pace. Casie Cowan added a pair of field goals during the spurt and hit a 3-pointer late in the half before feeding TaCouya Allen, who nailed a trifecta just before the buzzer, giving Cumberland a 46-24 advantage at the break.

The Bulldogs put together a 30-2 run to begin the second period that included nine points from Campbell and eight by Pace, pushing the clubs advantage to 76-26.

Campbell finished with 13 points and London Elie posted 11 points and six rebounds while Cowan added 12 points off the bench.
