In Wilson County, two persons were reportedly rescued from a home on John Wright Road in the Mt. Juliet area, said John Jewell, director of Wilson County Emergency Management Agency.

Jewell told a Nashville TV station that WEMAs swift water rescue team had been alerted and put on standby in case other people needed rescuing.

Jewell said low-lying areas are experiencing high water conditions, and that if you must be out to exercise caution.

As always, if you come upon high water along a roadway, do not attempt to drive through it. Remember, Turn around, dont drown.
