Latham, Jess Cartner and Smith each finished with three hits for Bryan (11-4), with Cartner driving in three runs and Latham scoring three times. The contest featured 29 hits and four errors as well as 13 walks and three hit batters by the two teams.Cory Urquhart led the Bulldogs at the plate, collecting two hits and three RBIs while Brodie Ross hit the teams first home run of the season and added another hit with two runs scored and two RBIs. Justin Johnston also posted two hits for CU.Leo Sierra (0-1), the fifth of six Cumberland pitchers, took the loss, allowing a single to the only batter he faced Latham to start the 10th inning. CU starter Nick Conley worked 4.1 innings, allowing five runs on eight hits.Kenny Knudsen (2-0) got the win for the Lions, tossing two hitless frames with two strikeouts. He was the fifth hurler of the game for Bryan.
