D-II basketball -- Feb. 15 results

FCS & MJ Christian boys eliminated
Wilson County's entries in the D-II boys regional were eliminated from the TSSAA post-season with Wednesday, Feb. 15 first round losses.
A furious Friendship Christian comeback try came up short in a 64-57 loss to University School of Nashville at the Bay Family Sportsplex.
A No. 2 seed coming in, FCS trailed 14-11 early and 16-13 at the half.
Jake Blair paced the Commander scoring with 15 points and Joe Greenwood added 12 -- including two 3-pointers.
Zach Blair scored 10 points and Brady Stovall chipped in with seven.
Hanley Sobieszczyk finished with six and Nolan Painter five.
FCS closed out 20-10.

BGA 74, MJCA 53
FRANKLIN -- Battle Ground Academy took an 18-11 first quarter lead and pushed the margin to 39-18 at intermission in Wednesday's 74-53 victory over Mt. Juliet Christian in the opening round of the Division II region.
MJCA's Tyler West led all scorers with 21 points.
Bailey Jones added 14 and Jacob Hall had 10 as the Saints ended the season with a record of 14-14. Logan Anderson had six points on a pair of 3-pointers and Caylor Bates rounded out the MJCA scoring with two points.
