Geraldine Erskin

Memorial services for Mrs. Erskin, 75 of Lebanon, will be Saturday, August 6 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until services.

She died August 2, 2016.

Survivors include: children, Micki Miller and Rick (Dawn) Sexton; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and brother, Doug Proffitt.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Glenola Marie Riker

Funeral services for Mrs. Riker, 89 of Lebanon, will be Saturday, August 6 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon. Inurnment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Jackson, Mich. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until services.

A Gold Star Mother, she died July 27, 2016.

Survivors include: daughter, Shirl (Martin); son, Tom (Jean); five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Sara Thompson

Memorial services for Mrs. Thompson, 91 of Lebanon, will be Sunday, August 7 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon with Dr. John Cheetham officiating. Inurnment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until services.

She died August 2, 2016.

Born March 9, 1925 in Eatonton, Ga., she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie B. North Singleton. Also preceding Mrs. Thompson in death is her husband of 28 years, James Roy Thompson, and brother, Woodrow. She attended McClain School, Lebanon High School and Knoxville Business College. She spent 44 years in Oak Ridge and Lexington, Ky. where she worked as secretary for the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission and the USDA.

Mrs. Thompson was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lebanon and resided at Elmcroft Assisted Living for the last 13 years where she made many good friends.

Survivors include: special cousins, Betty Ann Thompson, Cheryl Jean Walker, Jim Walker, Brian Walker, Gina Ragland, Carl Ragland and several out-of-town nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.
