James "Jim" Carroll

A private service for Mr. Carroll, 88 of Lebanon, will be Wednesday, Dec. 30 at Wilson County Memorial Gardens with Father Michael O'Bryan officiating. Pallbearers will be Drew Kennedy, Claude Maynard, Larry McNamee, Michael Penuel, Derek Sage and honorary pallbearer David Murray of Bellshill, Scotland.

Mr. Carroll passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends at his residence on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015. He was born in Carfin, Motherwell, Scotland, on Oct. 5, 1927.

Before emigrating from Scotland to Canada in 1956, he received his bachelor's degree from Royal College of Science & Engineering in Glasgow, Scotland, and was in the Royal Air Force as an engineer. In 1958, he moved his family to California, where he put himself through graduate school at the University of Southern California and obtained his master of business administration. He was vice president and general manager of Babcock Electronics Corp.; co-founder, chairman and CEO of Trivex-Datapac Inc.; president and CEO of Parco Inc. In 1979, Mr. Carroll made his final home in Lebanon. He was chairman and CEO of Precision Rubber Products; president and CEO of Wynn's Precision Inc.; president, chairman and CEO of Wynn's International and consultant for Bourns Inc.

Mr. Carroll loved the sport of golf and was a member of the Belle Meade Country Club, Lebanon Golf & Country Club and the Golf Club of Tennessee. He served many years on the Cumberland University Board of Trust and was a faithful member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabella "Isa" Carroll; parents, Patrick and Helen Carroll; and sisters, Jean, Susan, Nan and Helen.

Mr. Carroll will be greatly missed by his son, Gordon Carroll and his grandsons, Travis, Jimmy, Gordon D., Matthew and Robert Carroll.

Arrangements are in the care of Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.

Walter A. Sherouse

Memorial services for Mr. Sherouse, 69 of Lebanon, were Monday, Dec. 28 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Owner of Cumberland Garage Builders, he died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015.

Survivors include: wife, Joan Olson Sherouse; children, John (Sarah) Sherouse and Stephen Sherouse; siblings, Marlene Walters, Viola Roach, Billy Sherouse, Betty Ann (Dave) Bishop, Debbie Gabenstien, Alene Williston, Betty Lou Sherouse, Susan Reviss, Linda "LG" (Gil) Sisson, Steven (Janet) Sherouse and Michelle (Steve) Reel; and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project and/or St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.

Jerry Don Teague

Funeral services for Mr. Teague, 68 of Lebanon, were Sunday, Dec. 27 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon. Interment followed in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

He died Monday, Dec. 21, 2015.

Survivors include: sister, Dona Dickson; brother-in-law, Ronnie Dickson; nieces and a nephew.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

John Edward "Eddie" Vaughn Jr.

A celebration of life for Mr. Vaughn, 47 of Lebanon, will be Tuesday, Dec. 29 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon with Pastor Sandra Clay officiating. Visitation is Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 p.m. until services.

He died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015.

Survivors include: wife, Sara Vaughn; son, Michael Vaughn; mother, Carole Hinckley Young; brother, Kevin Vaughn; uncle, Roy Scott Hinckley; aunt, Dianne Greathouse Hinckley; mother-in-law, Carlene Roland Canterbury; sisters-in-law, Amanda Vaughn and Janet Gilbert; nephews and nieces.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Donna Jean Willoughby

Funeral services for Mrs. Willoughby, 59 of Dowelltown, will be Thursday, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Clayborn, Bro. Andy Malone and Bro. Frank Randolph officiating. Interment will follow at Jones Hill Cemetery in Watertown. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 11 a.m. until services.

The former operator of Clover Leaf Restaurant in the Liberty community, she died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015.

Survivors include: sons, Johnathon (Rena) Willoughby and Jessie (Jeannie) Willoughby; six grandchildren; mother, Betty Jean Malone; sister, Lisa (Kenneth) Ray; brother, Wayne (Doris) Malone; nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mrs. Willoughby's memory.

Arrangements are in the care of Hunter Funeral Home.

James Howell Wamack

Funeral services for Mr. Wamack, 86 of Birmingham, Ala., were Sunday, Dec. 27 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery.

A native of Trousdale County, he died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015.

Survivors include: wife, Billie Jo Hackett Wamack; son, James Howell (Jeanne Rogers) Wamack Jr.; daughter, Mary Jane Wamack (D. David) Driskell; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Arrangements are in the care of Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
