Matthew Vernon White Spain

Funeral services for Mr. Spain, 27 of Lebanon, will be Thursday, March 3 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home with Elder Ricky Hall and Elder Benny Maggart officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until services.

He died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016.

Survivors include: wife, Kaitlin Batey Spain; children, Aubree Spain, Elijah Spain, Londyn Spain and Kannon Weldy; mother, Pam (Robert) Carter; father, Terry (Kelly) Spain; siblings, Leslie (Jaimie) Hill, Mitch (Kirsten) Spain, Jason (Tiffany) Reed, Matthew Carter, Stephen Carter and Kristen Carter; grandparents, PeeWee (Juanita) Carter; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Jerald David Bryson

Memorial services for Mr. Bryson, 72 of Mt. Juliet, will be scheduled at a later date.

He died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016.

Survivors include: wife, Anita Bryson; son, Larry Bryson; daughter-in-law, Tina Davis; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of Bond Memorial Chapel.

Bob Harmon

Memorial services for Mr. Harmon, 76 of Lebanon, will be scheduled at a later date.

He died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Reddia Ann Chandler

Funeral services for Mrs. Chandler, 56 of Lebanon, were Saturday, Feb. 27 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home. Interment followed in Crestview Memory Gardens.

She died Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016.

Survivors include: mother, Conda Westmoreland Fisher; brothers, Danny (Billie) and John; two nieces; two great-nieces; and two great-nephews.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Linda Smith Christian

Funeral services for Ms. Christian, 73 of Hendersonville, will be Tuesday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Richie Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 2 until 7 p.m. and Tuesday after 11 a.m.

She died Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, at her home.

Born Nov. 20, 1942, in Chicago, she is the daughter of the late Roy Neal Smith and Louise Lane Smith. She worked as a dining room supervisor for many years at Shoney's. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church.

She is survived by: sons, Paul Louis Christian (Michelle) Christian and Adam Troy Horton; grandchildren, Ashley Rebecca Christian, Daniel & Daylon Christian, Journee & Brayden Mooneyham; cousin, Brenda (Eddie) Callis; and several other cousins.

Arrangements are in the care of Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.

James D. "J.D." Carr

A celebration of life service for Mr. Carr, 95 of Lebanon, will be Thursday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with Johnny Markham and Lee Gessner officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 until 6 p.m. Honorary pallbearers will be David Pennington, Boyd Finley, Ray Pope, John Laudeman, Billy Marks, Angela Boykin, Ralph Adams, Gary McQuown, Teresa Botts and Patty Watts.

He died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at his residence. He was preceded in death by parents, Alan and Pauline Carr; wife, Almarie Stamps Carr; son, Jimmy Alan Carr; brothers, Dewey and Barney Joe Carr; and sisters, Ruth Harrison and Polly Wilson.

Mr. Carr was a proud member of Boy Scouts of America and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of North Texas State University, where he received his bachelor's degree in music. Mr. Car was also a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a service manager for Dr. Pepper Bottling for 29 years, a 32nd Degree Mason in the Jackson Lodge #191 in Newport, Ark. and attended College Hills Church of Christ.

Survivors include: son, James Robin (Sherry) Carr; sister, Josephine Huett of Texas; daughter-in-law, Dian King Carr; grandchildren, Dawn (Andy) Willis, Brooke Carr and Allyson Carr (Adam) White; great-grandchildren, Morgan Carr, Rhett, Laurel Grace, Caroline & Molly Willis and Ella Grace and Amber Kate White; and several nieces and nephews across the country.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Hearthside at Castle Heights, the Lebanon Senior Citizens' Center or Gentiva Hospice. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Jimmy Morris and Dr. Larimore Warren and Ashley Calloway, Wesley Williams Jr. and Kristin Scurlock of Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate care and love.

Ronald Dawayne Simms

Funeral services for Mr. Simms, 64 of Lebanon, will be Wednesday, March 2 at 11 a.m. at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon with Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until services.

He died Friday, Feb. 26, 2016.

Survivors include: son, Jamie Simms; siblings, Peggy (Bobby) Linder, Darlene (Monty) Holloway, Gail (Ray) Fuqua and Terry Simms; and cousin, Timmy Martin.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.
