Mamie Marie McMahon

Funeral services for Mrs. McMahon, 85 of Lebanon, will be Friday, Jan. 15 at 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Stirnemann officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 until 7 p.m. and Friday after 11 a.m.

She died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016.

Survivors include: husband, James McMahon; children, Sherry (Charlie) Spears, Pam Oakley, Kenneth (Susie) Harris, Mike (Kelly) Harris, Diane Johnston and Darlene Sawyer; 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; nine sisters and two brothers.

Arrangements are in the care of Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.

Leon Nixon Denney

Funeral services for Mr. Denney, 85 of the Vine community, will be Saturday, Jan. 16 at 11 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Randy Ward officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 3 until 8 p.m. and Saturday after 10 a.m. Pallbearers will be Roy, Randy and Joe Denney; Ralph Mallicoat; James Martin Edwards; Charlie Butler; John and Scott Major.

He died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016 at Quality Health Care. A native of Wilson County, he was the son of the late H.R. Denney and Robbie Barrett Denney. He was a member of the Vine Church of Christ. He was a 1948 graduate of Lebanon High School and a lifelong farmer and logger. He served on the board of directors of Middle Tennessee Electric.

Mr. Denney was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Ralph Denney.

Survivors include: sons, William Henry (Barbara) Denney and David Nixon (Brenda) Denney; one grandson; two great-grandchildren; mother of his children, Carolyn Lannom Denney; and cousin, Margorie Barrett Stone. Special thanks to Dr. Roger McKinney and the staff of Quality Health Care.

Memorial contributions may be made to College Street Fellowship House.
