Elsie Ray Bennett

Services for Mrs. Bennett, 95 of Lebanon, will be Monday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Drennon officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Cemetery in Alexandria. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until services.

She died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015.

Survivors include: son, Thurman (Brenda) Bennett; son-in-law, Charles Horton; brother, Aubrey Dean (Nell) Snyder; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are in the care of Hunter Funeral Home.

James Richard Ford

Services for Mr. Ford, 70 of Mt. Juliet, will be Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. at Hickory Grove Church in Mt. Juliet with Rev. Mike Graham and Jeff Ford officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Bond Memorial Chapel and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

Retired from the Air National Guard and the Department of Veterans Affairs, he died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015.

Survivors include: wife, Sara "Sally" Wood Ford; mother, Amy Ford; sons, William Wyatt (Susan) Ford and Robert Jeffrey (Bobbie) Ford; sister, Lynda (Walter) Graham; and six grandchildren.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Hickory Grove Church or Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, TN 37203.

Arrangements are in the care of Bond Memorial Chapel.

Lydia Banks

A celebration of life for Mrs. Banks was held on Friday, Oct. 2 at Rocky Valley Baptist Church in Lebanon.

Survivors include: father, Herman Hardin; husband, Dennis Banks; daughters, Whitney (Andrew Carney) Hudson and Rachel Hudson; son, Logan Banks; sister, Renee (Joe) Dodd; brother, William (Angie) Hardin; two nieces and one nephew.

Arrangements are in the care of Hunter Funeral Home.

Dorothy Elaine Deal Prowell

Services for Mrs. Prowell, 93 of Lebanon, will be Monday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel with visitation from noon until services. Interment will follow in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

A Rosie Riveter during World War II, she died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015.

Survivors include: son, Gerald "Jerry" (Judy) Miller; four grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of Partlow Funeral Chapel.

Earl Lawrence

Services for Mr. Lawrence, 78, will be Monday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Randy Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. until services.

He died Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015.

Survivors include: wife, Patricia Lawrence; brother, Gerald (Faye) Lawrence; children, ret. Col. Steve Lawrence, Lisa (Bill) Wright and Teresa Pulliam; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and little buddies Carter, Caleb and Caden Kring.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in loving memory of daughter-in-law Vicky Lawrence.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.
