Vicky McAlpin Tubb

Visitation for Mrs. Tubb, 57, will be Saturday, Oct. 10 from 2 until 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 11 from 1 until 4 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. A celebration of life service will take place immediately following Sunday's visitation.

A massage therapist who worked at her own practice in Murfreesboro for nearly 20 years, she died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015.

Survivors include: husband, Dean; daughter, Lindsey Michelle Harris (Colby Sledge); sisters, Tavara Peets (Lawson) and Linda Wood Finley (Boyd); and several nieces, nephews and stepchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet.

Miles Smith & Anne Key Smith

Miles Smith, 91, and his wife of 68 years, Anne Key Smith, 89, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015. Mr. Smith was a native of Lebanon and lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Lebanon. He was a captain in the Marine Air Corps and flew Corsair fighters in the Pacific in World War II and helicopters in the Korean War. He and his brother Gould were co-owners of Fakes and Hooker Lumber Company for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and two older brothers.

Mrs. Smith was a native of Hartsville and also a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she was active in Stephen Ministries. After many years as a homemaker, she went to work at Peoples Bank (later SunTrust Bank). Mrs. Smith published "Key Memories," the history of her family, in 1995. She was preceded in death by her parents, three half-siblings and seven siblings.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith are survived by their children, Anne Soileau, Lilburn, Ga.; Meck (Chris) McDonald, Nashville; Miles (Ginger) Smith, Decatur, Ga.; and Virginia Webb, Brentwood; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

According to their wishes a private graveside service was held earlier.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Leash On Life, 507 Jim Draper Blvd., Lebanon TN, 37087, or to a favorite charity.

Arrangements are in the care of Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.

Richard Edward Hartman

Mr. Hartman, 82 of Lebanon, died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015.

Survivors include: wife, Shirley Pietras Hartman; children, Joseph (Trish) Hartman and David (Terri) Hartman; brother, Donald Hartman; three grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Bettie Lee Clark Tanner

Services for Mrs. Tanner will be Sunday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Gallatin City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Saturday and from noon until services on Sunday.

She died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015.

Survivors include: sons, Michael (JoAnn) Tanner and Anthony (Renee) Tanner; three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements are in the care of Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon.

Katherine Saddler

Services for Mrs. Saddler, 68 of the Prosperity community, will be Sunday, Oct. 11 at 2 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Thurman Seber and Bro. David Moody officiating. Interment will follow in Prosperity Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 until 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until services on Sunday.

She died Friday, Oct. 9, 2015.

Survivors include: husband, Dwight Saddler; sons, Eric (Beth) Saddler and Jared (Nikki) Saddler; six grandchildren; sister, Patsy Reeder; nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are in the care of Hunter Funeral Home.
