Former president of Lebanon Rotary
Funeral services have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, April 11 at Lebanon's First United Methodist Church for Mr. Dave Keltner, 54, of Lebanon.
President and CEO of LaVergne-based Cerqa Logistics, Mr. Keltner died April 3, 2014.
He served in Leadership Wilson, beginning in the Class of 1996, then on the Board of Directors from 2000-2007 and was President of LWA from 2000-2002, Treasurer of the Board 2002-2003, Vice President 2003-2004, and President of the Board from 2004-2005.
He was a past president of Lebanon Breakfast Rotary and was a member of the Rotary for nearly two decades.
Mr. Keltner served on the Board of Directors of the Lebanon / Wilson Count Chamber of Commerce (1998-2000) and served as Education Chair (1999 and 2000).
Under his leadership, the Friend of Education Award was established. In 2001, he was awarded the Business Person of the Year Award for his work and professional business leadership with Prospect, Inc. and awarded the Friend of Education Award in 2003.
He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University and grew up in Columbia, Kentucky.
Survivors include: wife Tanda Keltner; daughter Brandy (Kyle) Spicer; parents Simpson and Alma Keltner; siblings Peggy (Gary) Curry and Bill (Sondra) Keltner; nephews Jason Curry, Michael (Amanda) Keltner; and niece Sarah Keltner.
