David Ray Hunter, 45

LEBANON -- Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, June 21 at the Parlow Funeral Chapel for Mr. Hunter, 45, of Lebanon.
A graduate of Lebanon High School, Carson-Newman College, Adams State College, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Trevecca Nazarene University, he died Sunday, June 19, 2011 at University Medical Center. He was a member of Lebanon's First Baptist Church.
Services were conducted by Brother Don McElroy and Brother David Freeman.
Interment was in Wilson County Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: father Raymond Hunter; aunts Mildred H. Edwars, Betty Jean Smith, Dee Buterbaugh, Fern Buterbaugh, Ruth Arrington and Bille Pearson; uncles Bobby and Grant Buterbaugh and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother Patti Hunter; infant brother Stephen Ray Hunter; paternal grandparents Ida and Malon Hunter; maternal grandparents Betty and Albert Buterbaugh; uncles Gene Edwards, Farley Smith, Kenneth and Jim Buterbaugh and Garland Arrington.
Pallbearers: Bobby Johnson, Glenn Edwards, Aaron Edwards, Matthew Edwards, Joe Patton, Val Vastola and Ed Nelson. Honorary: The Hardaway Jenkins Volunteers Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church and the nurses of Two North at University Medical Center.
Arrangements by Partlow Funeral Chapel, Lebanon.
