Debi Lynn Crawford Harston, 61

A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13 at the Partlow Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Harston, 61, of Nashville. A native of Lebanon, she died suddenly Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Debi grew up in Westfield NJ but returned to Tennessee where she graduated from Belmont University. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt and great aunt.

Debi spent her life helping others, she was a friend to all, a stranger to none. She was a member of the Una Baptist Church in Antioch and a former employee of the Murfreesboro YMCA where she served as the nutritionist for the A,B,C program.

She also had her own business, "Steps to Wellness with Debi" and was a sales representative for Juice +. Debi was an avid exerciser. She loved her water aerobics class at the Sports Com and taking daily walks with her precious puppy, "Punkin".

She loved Elvis and her favorite color was purple. She was passionate about spreading the word about the importance of health and wellness. She was so special to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be missed everyday, but we know that God now has our precious angel and she will be watching over all of us from Heaven.

Visitation will be held Friday from 11 a.m. until the service at the Partlow Funeral Chapel.

Services will be conducted by Pastor Larry Floyd, Pastor Sean Stanfield and Rev. John Cheetham. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include: her loving husband of 34 years, Tommy Harston of Nashville; father James W. Crawford and his companion Virginia Hale of Lebanon; brother Cary (June) Crawford of Lebanon; sister Dana (Jeff) Stroop of Murfreesboro.

Also surviving are nephews Brad Crawford, Wilmington, NC and Cody(Michelle) Crawford of Hermitage; nieces Palmer (Joseph) Williams of Nashville, Taylor (Seth) Wiedmann of Nashville, Kelsey Stroop and Kaley Stroop -- both of Murfreesboro, Aphiwe Harston of Nashville; great nephews Walter Wiedmann and Jack Williams; great nieces, Presley and Stevie Rose.

Active pallbearers: Buddy Harston, Cody Crawford, Brad Crawford, Seth Wiedmann, Joseph Williams and Jeff Stroop.

Mrs. Harston is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Mac Austin; paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Byron Crawford as well as mother Maclyn Rose Austin Crawford.

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions be made in Debi's memory to the A,B,C (After Breast Cancer) Program, 205 North Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, 37129.

Lebanon's Partlow Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
