Following Thursday night’s festivities, the No. 1-ranked Bulldogs will host 24th-ranked Brewton-Parker in a single game Friday at 2 p.m. and a 2 p.m. doubleheader Saturday.

“Brewton-Parker will be the best team we’ve played so far this season,” said coach Hunt.

The Bulldogs will take on Indiana Tech in a 1 p.m. doubleheader -- all at Ernest L. Stockton Field.

CU stands 6-1 on the season following a 4-2 win over 12th-ranked Belhaven Saturday at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson, MS.

Preseason All-America selection Aaron Wilkerson pitched seven strong innings and Cory Farris provided all of the offense with a pair of two-run home runs, as top-ranked Cumberland defeated 12th-ranked Belhaven University, 4-2, Saturday afternoon in Jackson, Miss.

Wilkerson, making his first start of the season, allowed two runs on four hits in seven innings. The big righthander did not walk a batter and struck out seven.
