KSA Christmas Classic --
ORLANDO, FL -- Scrambling in the final seconds, Watertown High's Purple Tigers rallied for a thrilling 63-61 victory over Virginia's Central High Thursday morning in the opening round of the KSA Christmas Tournament at Walt Disney World.

Devon High drained a three-pointer with :50 seconds remaining in regulation to tie the game at 61-all, then sophomore Seth Price made a steal and a bucket with :10 seconds left for the game-winner.

Coach Matt Bradshaw's squad will be back in action Friday afternoon against an as-yet undetermined opponent.

The game had gone back and forth from the start as Central took a 19-13 lead after one quarter, only to see Watertown take a narrow 37-36 margin into intermission.

Post man Dylan Speck went 9-of-12 from the field and finished with 22 points. Price added 15 points and dished out six assists.

High contributed seven points, Brant Martin five and Vonte Bates four as WHS climbed to 7-5 overall.

Tigerettes win opener --
Watertown's Tigerettes improved to 9-2 with a 55-26 victory Thursday afternoon over East Rockaway (NY) in the KSA Christmas Classic at Disney World, Orlando.
