Dorothy Cuda Eisaman, 91 years old, born Sept. 11, 1925 and as of October 3, 2016, has gotten her groove back and is up in Heaven laughing, hugging, and partying and is so grateful to be free from pain and misery.
Wow, what a life she lived while on this Earth!! She was a fabulous person, caring friend and always an enthusiastic participant in life. Dorothy was a devout Catholic, a lover of outdoor activities, especially golfing and swimming, a traveler, a superb seamstress, a gracious hostess and a gourmet cook. She had a gift of encouraging others and loved a good party. Dorothy was the happiest when holding her husband's hand, surrounded by family and friends, sitting around an outdoor fire, stories being told and lots of laughter. A lifelong resident of Bethel Park, PA, Dorothy was also a seasonal resident of Deep Creek Lake, MD. She was a former member of St. Valentines Catholic Church in Bethel Park. Dorothy graduated from Mount Mercy and Carnegie Tech, now known as Carnegie Mellon.
Dorothy is the daughter of the late, Carl and Frances Andrews Cuda. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Pete" Eisaman.
She is survived by son, Glenn (Jackie) Eisaman; daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Geisler and Carol (Rich) Wolverton; brother, Richard S. Cuda; grandchildren, Lindsey, Curtis, Julia, Amanda, Steve and Amie and 4 great-grandchildren.
The family is most grateful for the loving kindness of caregivers, Rich Wolverton, Amie Wolverton, Darryl Marlowe, Lacey Tenpenney, Dorothy Tucker and family, Dena Swoner, Kathryn
Owens and many others who accompanied her compassionately to the end of her life. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Christi Witherspoon and to Alive Hospice, whose services were invaluable.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please give your loved ones a big hug and an "I Love You". Yabba Dabba Doo!
