MT. JULIET -- Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9 at Bond Memorial Chapel for Mr. Agee, 78, of Lebanon.
Known as "Pee Wee" to his friends, Mr. Agee died Sunday, June 6, 2010.
A lifetime member of Cooks United Methodist Church and a 47 years member of the Cooks choir, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy -- having served during the Korean War.
Mr. Agee was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University where he played football. He loved golf and worked at Windtree Golf Course for 12 years.
Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Wednesday at Bond Memorial Chapel.
Services will be conducted by Pastor Lee Stevenson and Dr. Garry Speich. Interment with military honors will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include: his ife of 47 years Billie Sue Easley Agee; children Eddie J. (Amy) Agee and Denise (Alan) Schoenbachler -- all of Lebanon.
Also surviving is sister DeNelle Agee (Don) Stotser of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren Ashlee Agee, Amber Agee, Josh Schoenbachler, Caitlin Schoenbachler and A.J. Schoenbachler.
Mr. Agee was preceded in death by parents Andrew Jackson and Mary Augustine Smith Agee.
Active pallbearers: Don Stotser, Darryl Vines, Bill Easley, George Davis, Doug Pelren and Wallace Bryon. Honorary: members of the Cooks united Methodist Church choir, the Seeker’s Sunday School Class and the staff of Windtree Golf Course.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Cooks United Methodist Church or Odyssey Hospice.
