Edna Earl Lannom, age 89, passed away on March 9, 2017.
Funeral service will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Adams Ave. Church of Christ. Bro. Michael Wyatt and Adams Ave. Church of Christ Elders will be officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Partlow Funeral Chapel from 2 to 5 p.m. and Monday at Adams Ave. Church of Christ from 10 a.m. until service. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Carl Crawford, Richard Newberry, Dallas Mathis, & Glenn Hollis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the Elders and Deacons of Adams Ave. Church of Christ.
Edna is survived by son, Mark (Debbie) Lannom and grandson, Ethan Lannom and many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by husband, Monroe; son, Earl Douglas, 8 sisters and 3 brothers.
Edna was born in Jackson County Tennessee on June 8, 1927 to Robert and Vernie Jones Flatt. She was one of 12 children. Edna and Monroe Lannom married in 1951 and made their home in Lebanon, Tennessee. They had two sons; Earl Douglas born in 1952 and Billy Mark born in 1960. Monroe had two sons prior to their marriage; Raymond Lannom and Elvin Lannom. Edna was a lifelong devoted member of the Church of Christ. She retired from Precision Rubber Products Company after which she enjoyed volunteering at Prospect, Inc. and going to the Lebanon Senior Citizens Center. Edna loved spending time with her family. She was an avid gardener and took great pride in her beautiful flowers. She was loved and will be greatly missed.
