HERMITAGE -- Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 31 at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church, 3475 Lebanon Road, for Mrs. Williams, 90, of Donelson.
A charter member of Hermitage Hill Baptist Church and a longtime employee of Sears, she died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008. Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late James and Bertie Gilchrist Martin and the widow of the late Hobdy Brantley Williams.
Visitation is one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
Services will be conducted by Brother Keith Smyser, Ted Williams and Troy Williams. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Survivors include: children James B. (Ruby) Williams of Dickson and Alice F. (Dennis) Oldfield of Mt. Juliet. Also surviving: brother Ken Martin of Carmichael, CA and sister Loudean Inman of Memphis; seven grandchildren; 16 great, grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers will include: grandsons, great, grandson and Barry Oldfield.
Honorary pallbearers: the Fidelis Ladies Bible Class, James Oldfield, Ray Bass, Bobby Bass, Dan Bass, Chief Coulter, Max Anderson, J.R. Perry and Walt Williams.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son Jerry Wayne Williams and great, granddaughter Mikayla Harris.
