Events coming up at Sherlocks

It’s not too soon to begin planning to attend a number of events set for Sherlock’s Books in Lebanon in February, including a Mystery Writers Convention.

The Mystery Writers Convention will be on Saturday, Feb. 21 and is to feature J.T. Ellison, author of “Judas Kiss”; Jennie Bentley, author of “Fatal Fixer Upper”; Chester D. Campbell, author of “Marathon Murders”; Dewey Lambdin, author of “What Lies Buried”; Elizabeth Terrell, author of “Too Close to Evil”; Laura Benedict, author of “Calling Mr. Lonely Hearts”; and Steve Womack, author of “By Blood Written.”

Prior to the convention, Margie Morgan, author of “We knew you wouldn’t remember…So we wrote it down” will sign copies of her book and is to do a cooking demonstration, also, on Thursday, Feb. 5.

A Writer’s Workshop is scheduled for 1 until 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 14.

The movie “Fireproof” will be shown at 4 and 7 p.m., also on Saturday, Feb. 14 and requires reservations. Eric Wilson will sign the book and DVDs.

David Boop, author of “She Murdered Me With Science,” will sign copies of his book on Sunday, Feb. 22, and Savannah Reese, author of “Baby Cassie,” will have a book-signing on Saturday, Feb. 28.

All book signings are from 1 until 4 p.m. on their respective dates.
