Lebanon's Faith Lutheran Church will hold a "Songwriters in the Round" Friday night at 7 p.m., featuring a trio of accomplished artists: Brandon Hunt, Missy Chamberland and John Mulder.
A mountain dulcimer artist from Huntsville, Ala., Hunt is known for his Christian music, which is a testimony to his faith journey.
Chamberland is a recently retired orthopedic surgeon from Gunnison, Colo. who has turned to songwriting and singing, including an appearance at the famed Bluebird Café in Nashville.
Mulder was recently honored for Best Folk/Singer-Songwriter Album for "Joy Wins" by Akedemia, a music industry media organization. Mulder began his career as a physician in family medicine and served in the fields of hospice and palliative medicine for most of his career, including his time at Nashville's Alive Hospice.
No admission will be charged for the performances, but freewill donations are welcome. Proceeds will benefit Sherry's Run, and free refreshments will be served.
Faith Lutheran Church, located at 1655 West Main Street, hosts the songwriters' night on the fifth Friday of every month. To sign up as a songwriter or for more information, call (615) 449-5480 or visit www.faithhere.com.
