Elizabeth Cluck and Rachel Pettross have been named the 2015 valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, at Friendship Christian School.
Cluck is the daughter of Van and Janet Cluck of Lebanon and has attended FCS for 10 years. She has participated in varsity soccer, Spanish club, National Honor Society and student council. She has also participated in mission trips to Mexico, Nicaragua, Sneedville and a medical trip to Honduras. An intern with the Run4water organization, she plans to attend Lipscomb University to study biology and Spanish with an emphasis on mission work.
Pettross, who has also attended FCS for 10 years, is the daughter of Lee and Elizabeth Pettross of Lebanon. She has participated in cheerleading for eight years and has also been involved in soccer, track, National Honor Society, Spanish club and student council, where she presides as the student body president. She has been involved in mission trips to Nicaragua and Sneedville. She plans to attend Tennessee Technological University in the fall to study nursing.
