LEBANON -- Friendship Christian battered Watertown with seven first half touchdowns en route to a 54-14 win over the previously undefeated Tigers Friday night at Pirtle Field.
Leading 14-0 after one quarter, the Commanders exploded for 33 second quarter points and took a 47-0 lead into the locker room at intermission.
FCS improved to 5-3 overall / 4-2 in Region 4A. Watertown dropped to 6-1 / 4-1 in the region with the loss. The Purple Tigers will be at home Friday, Oct. 14 vs. Gordonsville High. FCS will be idleuntil an Oct. 21 home date with Red Boiling Springs.

GALLATIN -- Mt. Juliet stayed atop the District 9AAA football standings with a lopsided 45-7 victory at Station Camp Friday night.
With the Bison choosing to stack eight and sometimes nine defenders in the box against the MJ running attack, Coach Roger Perry's Bears took the the air as QB Caleb Chowbay threw for four touchdowns.
Mt. Juliet improved to 7-0 on the season, heading into an Oct. 14 game at Cookeville High.
BEECH 36, WILSON CENTRAL 0
SHACKLE ISLAND -- Beech improved to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in district 9AAA with a dominating 36-0 victory Friday night over Wilson Central.
The Bucs took a 12-0 lead after one period and never looked back as the Wildcats turned the ball over three times and slipped to 2-6 overall / 2-3 in league play.
Central is idle Oct. 14, but will return to action Oct. 21 at home vs. Station Camp.
