LEBANON -- Friendship Christian School senior softball standout Brice Dabbs signed scholarship papers Thursday, March 30 to continue her education and athletic career at Lebanon's Cumberland University.

A middle of the order slugger for the Lady Commanders, Dabbs is the daughter of Scott and Ginny Dabbs.

"She can really swing it," said CU Phoenix coach Heather Stanfill.

"I like her athletic ability. She'll have an opportunity to compete for playing time. We have several freshmen who play on a regular basis now."

Dabbs is presently hitting .381 for the Lady Commanders and has only struck out twice in 23 plate appearances.

She has played first base most of her prep career, but has filled in a third in recent FCS games.
