FCS sweeps Ezell-Harding

LEBANON -- Friendship Christian picked up a couple of basketball wins Tuesday night at the Bay Family Sportsplex against visiting Ezell-Harding Academy. The Lady Commanders improved to 7-3 on the season with a 52-46 win over E-H in the opener. Laurel Burroughs had 19 points and Andi Morrisett 16 for the winners.

Friendship’s boys scored an 82-54 win over the Eagles in the nightcap. Cameron Hill and Drew Hutchison each had 16 points as the Commanders upped their record to 8-1 on the season.
Mark Sandoval added 13 while Austin Defevers chipped in with nine points.

The FCS teams will be busy Tuesday, Dec. 28 as they play in the Mid-State Christmas Tournament against Donelson Christian Academy in a 10 a.m. doubeleheader.
