Freed Hardeman University recently released the names of students who made the president's or the dean's list for spring 2016. Seven Wilson County students were recognized.
To be on the president's list, a student must be full time and have a 4.0 grade-point average. Two students from Lebanon achieved this distinction, Alex Britt, a junior accounting major, and Amelia Smith, a junior child and family studies major.
Recognition on the dean's list requires full-time status and a minimum GPA of 3.40 for the semester. Three students from Mt. Juliet achieved this distinction: Jordan Burton, a freshman exercise science major; Lelia Matheny, a junior management major; and Jacob Myers, a senior accounting major. Two students from Lebanon were also recognized: Jesse Forkum, a freshman communication major; and Murry Lee, a freshman Bible major.
