Lebanon's Fiddlers Grove Historical Village is set to host Spring Fest in the Grove on Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The upcoming event will feature vendors with hand-crafted items and plants for sale, local honey, jams and artistic items for shoppers to enjoy. And, according to Fiddlers Grove Historical Village Coordinator Gwen Scott, Spring Fest will also include plenty of special guests.
Dr. Alan Windham, University of Tennessee plant pathologist, will be on hand to field questions about plant issues; Linda Robertson will teach about butterflies and the gardens that attract them; and Marianne Pelletier will discuss the grove's newly installed history garden.
Spring Fest in the Grove will also feature gospel singing in Melrose Church from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. with Bethany Harrison, Lynn Becker and singers from Rocky Valley Baptist Church, Scott noted.
