First Pitch Dinner is Saturday

A few spots remain open for former members of the Lebanon High baseball team to attend Saturday's inaugural First Pitch Dinner to meet the 2014 Blue Devils and new head coach Tony Long.
Cumberland University's Hall of Fame baseball coach Woody Hunt will be the guest speaker.
Sponsored by the Lebanon Police  Department and the Lebanon O'Charley's, the casual event will be held 6 p.m. Feb. 1 in the Lebanon High cafeteria.
Thanks to the generous donations of Chief Scott Bowen and O'Charley's manager K.J. Jones -- all former LHS baseball players will dine free of charge.
However, reservations are necessary and must be made prior to 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 31,
The team will be unveiling a tribute to the late Randy "Hondo" Vanatta -- who played a key role in last season's opening day ceremonies before his passing.
