'Meet The Tigers' Saturday
Watertown High's football team will travel to Robertson County Friday for a 7 pm scrimmage with the Jo Byrns Red Devils.
Purple and White faithful are invited to attend the inaugural "Meet the Tigers" Saturday at Robinson Stadium.
Plans call for a $10 a player barbeque dinner as well as a silent and live auction.
In addition, WHS senior football players will be auctioned off in pairs for three hours of work on a designated Saturday in September.
A 2016 family pass will be given away as a door prize.
All proceeds generated will benefit Watertown High football.
Watertown High will host a preseason jamboree Saturday, Aug. 13.
Watertown Middle School will host Southside at 6 p.m. followed by the WHS junior varsity at 7 p.m.
The Watertown and DeKalb County varsity teams will take the field at 8 p.m. for two quarters of action.
The 2016 regular season kicks off Friday, Aug. 19 as the Purple Tigers journey to Gordonsville High School.

Here's a quick look at tonight's other scrimmages involving Wilson County football teams.
Wilson Central will be on the road for a 5:30 p.m. scrimmage at Hendersonville High School.
Mt. Juliet Christian Academy will be on the road tonight for a 6:30 p.m. scrimmage at Clarksville Academy.
Lebanon High will scrimmage Station Camp High tonight at 6 p.m. at Tribble Field / Watkins Stadium.
Mt. Juliet High will travel to Montgomery County to take on Clarksville High at Austin Peay State University.
Friendship Christian School will visit DeKalb County High tonight as well.
'We Are Big Blue' event
Lebanon High School invites all fans and former players to attend a "We Are Big Blue" tailgate party and scrimmage Friday, Aug. 12 at Tribble Field / Watkins Stadium.
Fans are invited to bring their own pop-up tents and chairs to enjoy free hamburgers and hot dogs provided by the Lebanon High Booster Club and the Blue Devil Football Foundation.
Members of the 2016 football team and coaching staff will be introduced with special recognition of former Blue Devils who work in local law enforcement.
The fun is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. followed by a scrimmage at 7 p.m. with Pope John Paul II.
Season ticket packages and reserved parking passes will be available for purchase.
