Four arrested on drug charges near school

Four people were arrested after police raided and seized with intent for resale at Timberline Campground Friday morning.

Lebanon Police Departments Drug investigation Unit and SWAT team executed two search warrants at two separate sites at the campground located at 1204 Murfreesboro Rd.

All four arrested were wanted on capias warrants, according to police. They also found thousands of dollars in cash and more than 3 ounces of cocaine.

Those arrested were Jeremy L. Pruitte, 35; Sherry D. Pruitte, 41; Terry L. Wharton, 47; and Kristina M. Pruitte, 30.

Additionally, all four have been charged with multiple counts of conspiracy of the sale of narcotics in a school zone and weapons violations. Additional charges will be made later today, police say. Timberline is located near Southside Elementary School.

Jeremy L. Pruitte is being held on $40,000 bond. According to Wilson County Sheriff's Department online records, this is his 17th arrest since 1997.

Sherry D. Pruitte is being held on $30,000 bond. This is also her 17th arrest according to WCSD records since 1994.

Terry L. Wharton is being held on $15,000 bond. He has been booked into the Wilson County Jail 13 times since 2001.

Kristina M. Pruitte is being held on $15,000 bond. This is her 10th booking into the Wilson County Jail since 2009.

The arrests were the product of two months of investigation, according to police.
