Freezing temps expected Thursday night

A Freeze Warning has been issued for Wilson County and all of Middle Tennessee tonight and into Friday morning as the low was expected to drop to about 30 degrees.  

A Hard Freeze Warning was issued for the Cumberland Plateau and low lying areas where temperatures may drop even more. The National Weather Service defines a Hard Freeze as having a temperature of 27 degrees or lower.    Meteorologists with the NWS Office in Old Hickory were expecting widespread frost after 1 a.m., Friday.

The high Friday should rise to about 52 under sunny skies.  Look for freezing conditions again Friday night as the temperature was expected to drop to near 32 degrees.  

Saturday should be sunny with a high 63. Skies Saturday night will become partly cloudy with a low near 45. Sunday was expected to be mostly sunny with a high of about 62.
