Devils place 4 in double figures
MT. JULIET -- JaKeese Turner's 17 points led four Lebanon players in double figures Friday night as the Blue Devils rolled to a 66-49 win in front of a nearly full house at District 9-AAA rival Mt. Juliet.
Turner, who was tagged with a technical foul for flexing his muscles following a fourth quarter layup, knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and was a perfect 3-of-3 at the line as LHS improved to 5-1 on the season.
LHS broke open a 28-all contest with a 21-0 run in the third quarter.
"They way they were playing forced us to keep playing," said LHS coach Jim McDowell. "They are so good at waht they do, it forces you to keep playing, attacking the basket.
"The first half I thought we were a little tentative, but in the second half we were able to get to the basket and finish.
Noah Mulaski and Eddie Jackson added 16 apiece while Cameron Oliver had 10 points for the winners.
Mt. Juliet (1-5) got 15 points from Terrell Wilson while J.R. Sanders had 11 points. Trey Pruitt knocked down a pair of 3-points and finished with six points for the Bears.
Mt. Juliet is scheduled to host District 9-AAA rival Gallatin Tuesday, Dec. 6 while Lebanon travels to Hendersonville.

Wilson Central 52, Hendersonville 50
GLADEVILLE -- Clutch shooting at the free throw line down the stretch helped lift Wilson Central to a 52-50 home win over Hendersonville Friday.
The Wildcats (3-4) knocked down seven points at the charity stripe in the fourth quarter.
Central's Gavin Johnson led all scorers with 23 points.
Cole Booth chipped in with 11 amd Dawson Hamilton added six on two 3-point baskets.
Wilson Central will be back in action Tuesday, Dec. 6 at home vs. Beech High School.

Friendship 63, Franklin Grace 50
LEBANON -- Zach Blair led all scorers with 21 points as Friendship Christian disposed of Franklin's Grace Christian 63-50 at the Bay Family Sportsplex.
FCS took an early 16-6 lead and led 39-30 going into the final eight minutes.
The Commanders, now 2-4 overall, got nine points from Jacob Blair and eight each from Hanley Sobieszczyk and Joe Greenwood.
Friendship is scheduled to host Murfreesboro's Providence Christian Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Watertown 83, Monterey 68
WATERTOWN -- Four Purple Tigers reached double figures in Watertown's 83-68 home win over Monterey Friday night.
Leading 34-21 after one period, Watertown put the game out of reach with a 20-6 second quarter run.
Seth Price drilled four 3-pointers and finished with 20 points as WHS stayed perfect on the season at 8-0.
Blake Borcherding contributed a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Preston Tomlinson and Heath Price each had 10 while Austin Lasater had nine and Ty Love eight points.
Watertown is scheduled to host Nolensville High Tuesday, Dec. 6.
