Central entertains HHS
Lebanon High's basketball teams make the short trip down Highway 70 tonight for a District 9-AAA doubleheader at Mt. Juliet. Girls action tips at 6 p.m. The Lady Bears stand 4-1 on the season following Monday's 52-44 win at Ravenwood.

A pair of ninth graders led MJHS in scoring as Emma Palmer poured in 18 points while Nevaeh Majors added 13.

Senior wing Tavie Bell remains sidelined with a knee injury over a week ago against East Nashville. Bell is presently going through rehab in the hope of returning to the court later this season.

Lebanon's girls also sport a record of 4-1 on the season following a pair of home court wins in last weekend's State Farm Insurance Thanksgiving Classic.

The Devilettes picked up a 63-40 victory over Knoxville's Grace Classic on Saturday as Maleigha Oldham had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Mt. Juliet's boys are itching to get back on the floor following a tough 56-54 loss to Ravenwood Monday.

Now 1-4 on the season, the Golden Bears are looking to snap a four-game losing streak

Lebanon enters tonight's contest on the heels of a 59-57 loss to Siegel Saturday night.

The Blue Devils slipped to 4-1 on the season after seeing a 49-41 lead slip away in the fourth quarter.

Other local games on tap this evening include: Hendersonville at Wilson Central in a District 9-AAA twinbill, Monterey at Watertown and Franklin's Grace Christian playing at Friendship Christian School.

Tuesday results
Tuesday night hoops found the Mt. Juliet Christian Academy girls dropping a 34-28 decision to visiting Aaron Academy. Caitlyn Smith finished with seven points for MJCA while Marcella Gallione added six.

In Tuesday's nightcap, the MJ Christian boys slipped to 0-4 on the season following a 59-47 to The Webb School -- despite 14 points from both Caylor Bates and Bailey Jones.
