(girls) Mt. Juliet 65, HHS 38HENDERSONVILLE -- Sally McCabe scored 25 points and the Lady Bears closed out the game on a 14-3 run in Friday night's 65-38 District 9AAA victory at Hendersonville High School. Mt. Juliet now stand 18-6 on the season / 11-1 in District 9AAA.

(boys) Mt. Juliet 58, HHS 56 OTHENDERSONVILLE -- Mt. Juliet got 22 points from soph guard Nolan Chowbay in friday night's thrilling 58-56 overtime win at Hendersonville High. The Bears improved to 13-10 overall, 8-4 in District 9AAA.

(girls) Lebanon 57, Gallatin 50GALLATIN -- Abby Wright fired in 20 points and Julia Fox added 19 as Lebanon held off Gallatin 57-50 in a District 9AAA matchup Friday night. LHS (13-11 / 8-4) took a commanding 36-22 lead into intermission, only to see the Lady Wave claw back into the game with an 18-11 third period.

(boys) Gallatin 45, Lebanon 42GALLATIN -- A remarkable second half comeback fell just short as the Lebanon dropped a 45-42 loss at District 9AAA foe Gallatin Friday night.

The Blue Devils dug themselve a pretty deep hole with lousy shooting and trailed Gallatin 21-3 at intermission. LHS was outscored 9-2 in the first quarter and 12-1 in the second. Zimmer Hunn led LHS with 10 points, DaShawn McMurry and Jemel Officer finished with eight each as Jim McDowell's team slid to 8-16 / 4-8.

(girls) Wilson Central 48, Station Camp 34GLADEVILLE -- Wilson Central's Lady Wildcats evened their record at 11-11 on the season and 7-5 in District 9AAA with a 48-34 victory at Station Camp Friday night.

Trailing 12-11 after one quarter, WCHS stunned the Bison with a 14-2 second period and took a 25-14 lead into intermission. Hailey Averitt nailed a pair of 3-pointers and led Central with 15 points. Rachel Bean added 10.

(boys) Wilson Central 47, Station Camp 39GLADEVILLE -- Trailing 33-29 going into the fourth quarter, Wilson Central caught fire for an 18-6 closing run in Friday's 47-39 victory over Station Camp. The Wildcats got 16 points from Jacob Williams as they raised the overall record to 19-6 / 9-3 in District 9AAA.

(girls) DCA 44, MJ Christian 31MT. JULIET -- The Lady Saints of Mt. Juliet Christian Academy dropped a 44-31 home loss to Donelson Christian Friday night -- falling to 9-13 overall / 4-6 in District 1A of Division II.

Shelby Leech dropped in three 3-points as she and Lynnze Ethridge each finished with nine points.

(boys) DCS 61, MJ Christian 54MT. JULIET -- Jackson Harrell's five 3-pointers and 22 points wasn't enough for the Saints an Mt. Juliet Christian lost a 61-54 decision to visiting Donelson Christian Friday.

Trevor West and Zack Zones each had 11 as the Saints dropped to 9-15 overall / 2-8 in league play.

MJCA will host Zion Christian Academy from Maury County Tuesday in a 6 p.m. twinbill.
