Central hosts Ravenwood -
A full slate of games is on tap this evening as all six Wilson County football programs will be back in action. Headlining tonight's schedule is Wilson Central's home game against Region 3, 6A leader Ravenwood.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium as the Raptors try to make a clean sweep of three games against Wilson County competition. Coach Will Hester's club downed Mt. Juliet 24-17 in overtime back on Sept. 4, then dusted Lebanon to the tune of 52-7 Oct. 9.
Ravenwood (7-1 and 5-0 region) has reeled off three straight wins since a 30-13 loss Sept. 11 to cross-county rival Centennial.
Wilson Central comes in 4-4 overall and 2-3 in league play after an open week. The Wildcats dropped a 35-3 home loss to Franklin High back on Oct. 9 -- just prior to the break.

Watertown at Community High
Coach Gavin Webster's Purple Tigers are hoping to close the regular season with a pair of wins in order to earn second place in Region 4, 2A and a first round home game in the TSSAA postseason.
Watertown stands 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the region after posting a 44-21 win over East Robertson last week.
Tonight, the Purple Tigers travel to Unionville to take on Community High.
The Vikings stand 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the region. A week ago, Community drilled Division II Zion Christian 69-28.
"They'll like to spread the field to open up their running game," Coach Webster said. "They've got a pretty good athlete they'll play at quarterback and receiver. It looks like their offense is the strength of their football team."
Lebanon at Nashville Overton
Fresh off a much-needed win, Lebanon makes the trip into Nashville tonight to play at Overton High School.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Nick Coutras Field. Live radio coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. on WANT FM-98.9.
The Blue Devils (3-5, 1-4 in Region 3, 6A) forced five turnovers in a 34-14 win at Antioch last week -- snapping a four-game losing streak.
Overton (4-4, 2-3) is looking to break a three-game losing streak. The Bobcats dropped a 38-7 loss to Ravenwood on Oct. 16.
Friendship at Portland
Division II 1-A Friendship Christian steps tonight to take on Class 4A Portland. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Memorial Field -- located at Portland Middle School.
The Commanders moved to 5-3 overall following last week's thrilling 16-13 win over Donelson Christian Academy.
FCS needs to win out in order to secure a first round home playoff game.
The Panthers sport a 3-5 record and have dropped two straight games -- including a 28-14 loss to Maplewood a week ago.
Mt. Juliet at Franklin
Ready to roll after a week off, Mt. Juliet journeys to Williamson County tonight to take on Franklin High.
The Golden Bears (5-3, 4-1) opened the season with three straight losses, but have rallied to win each of their last five contests -- including a 35-7 win over Antioch back on Oct. 16.
Franklin is 5-3 overall, 3-2 in the region after topping McGavock 28-21 last week.
Zion Christian at MJ Christian
Hoping to break a two-game losing streak, Mt. Juliet Christian hosts Zion Christian Academy out of Columbia.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Suey Field. MJCA's senior football players will be recognized during pregame.
The Saints stand 2-6 overall following last week's 49-30 loss to The King's Academy.
Zion Christian is 1-7 after taking a 69-28 loss to Community High School.
