Third-graders at Friendship Christian School recently harvested their first crop of strawberries they planted in the fall. They chose to give the first fruits to the people on the FCS campus that serve them. They presented each special servant with thank you letters and a quart of strawberries. They plan to sell the remaining strawberries for $5 a quart so they can have the funds to purchase plants and materials in the fall. Through the project, students learned many important lessons in science, math and giving to others. SUBMITTED
