The dead man has been identified as Andre D. Logue, 30, of 214 Stroud Drive, Lebanon. Logue was a 2001 graduate of Lebanon High School, where he played football and ran track for the Blue Devils. He was a route supervisor with the Coca-Cola Company.

The injured man was identifed by the LPD as Justin L. "JJ" Johnson, 26, of 32 Dedman Street. He too, was a former football and track standout at Lebanon High.

The LPDresponded to a call of "shots fired" Saturday at 5:31 a.m. at 46 Dedman Street, a street that intersects with Bluebird Road on Lebanon's east side.

Officers arrived to find Logue deceased of an apparent gunshot wound at 32 Dedman Street -- the Johnson home.

A short time later officers were sent to University Medical Center in reference to a second shooting victim. Johnson was apparently driven to the hospital in a private vehicle. He has since been moved to Summit Hospital in Davidson County.

JC Hellum Funeral Home, Lebanon, will be in charge of arrangements for Mr. Logue.
