Get out and vote

  Email   Print

To the Editor:

I would like to encourage those who have not voted, for whatever reason, to go out and vote. We need to exercise our right and responsibility as citizens, and we must not let the recent negative publicity influence our decision in this election.

We cannot dwell on actions from the past. Yesterdays are gone. People change. How they stand today is what matters. No person or leader will ever be perfect. If we have someone who wants to make our country strong again, we should not take this lightly, for we cannot continue in the direction we are going.

We need to center our attention on the serious issues we are facing now. America has been greatly blessed, but America is sinful. We need to repent and turn our faces back to our great creator. If we do not, our future looks very bleak.

So think about these things, pray about it and make your choice for the time may come when we may no longer have these rights or freedom.
