Gingerbread House winners announced

Officials at Hearthside at Castle Heights, an assisted-living home, announced the winners of their third annual Gingerbread House competition in which area elementary school students compete. The children were split into two groups: third and fourth grade and fifth and sixth grade. First, second and third places were awarded in both groups. First place won $100, second place won $50 and third place won $25. The houses will be on display to the public at until Friday, Dec. 18 at Hearthside at 215 Castle Heights Ave. N. in Lebanon.
