Mt. Juliet 72, Hendersonville 57
MT. JULIET -- Mt. Juliet’s Lady Bears ran their winning streak to 15 games following Friday’s 72-57 home win over Hendersonville High.

Already assured of the top seed in the District 9-AAA tournament, the Lady Bears improved to 20-1 overall and a sparking 9-0 in the league. Ronjanae DeGray scored a game-high 22 points for Mt. Juliet while Sally McCabe added 14.

Mt. Juliet entertains Station Camp Tuesday in a 6:30 p.m. contest and will close out the regular season on the road Friday, Feb. 7 at Wilson Central High.

Lebanon 59, Gallatin 42
LEBANON -- Madison Sloan and Morgan Bruce each scored 19 points to lead Lebanon High to a 59-42 Senior Night win over Gallatin Friday at Campbell Brandon Gymnasium.

The win was the fourth in a row for the Devilettes, who moved to 11-11 overall and 6-6 in District 9-AAA. Trailing 21-20 at intermission, Lebanon outscored the Lady Wave 25-8 in the third period.

Kelsey Yarbrough and Kristen Dedman each scored six points for the winners.

LHS plays at Beech Tuesday, Feb. 4; at Portland Friday, Feb. 7 and at White County Monday, Feb. 10.

Wilson Central 57, Station Camp 50
GALLATIN -- Sophomore Kendall Spray lit up the nets for 23 points Friday to help lead Wilson Central to a 57-50 road win at Station Camp.

Spray knocked down four 3-pointers as the Lady Wildcats upped their record to 15-9 on the season, 7-5 in District 9-AAA.

Kayla Jackson chipped in with 11 points and five assists for the winners while Dominique St. Louis had nine points and Addison Byrd eight.

Coach Bud Brandon’s team plays at Portland Tuesday night and will close out the regular season at home Friday as Mt. Juliet High visits Gladeville.

Watertown 72, Goodpasture 63 (OT)
WATERTOWN -- Alicia Jennings scored 22 points and dished out six assists to help lead Watertown to a thrilling 72-63 home win over District 8-A foe Goodpasture Friday night.

The Tigerettes outscored Goodpasture 18-9 in overtime, converting a perfect eight of eight at the charity stripe.

Dae Dae Nunnley scored 13 points, Shelby Mofield drilled four 3-pointers and finished with 12 while Bobbi Staats and Jasmine High each scored 10 points.

Coach Lane Price’s team improved to 15-9 overall and 6-1 in District 8-A.

The loss was the first district blemish for the Lady Cougars, who slipped to 7-1 in the league, 15-6 overall.

Watertown broke a three-game losing streak with the win over Goodpasture and is scheduled to play at Red Boiling Springs Thursday, Feb. 6 and at Trousdale County Friday, Feb. 7.

Donelson Christian 40, MJ Christian 23
MT. JULIET -- The regular season came to a close for Mt. Juliet Christian Academy Friday night with a 40-23 home loss to East-Middle District 1-A foe Donelson Christian 40-23.

Meredith Orr and Lauren Wankel scored seven points each in the loss.

MJCA dropped to 12-11 overall, 2-4 in the district.
