Gladeville Elementary School’s Fall Festival promises to be one of the largest in school history in 2009, an organizer said.
Scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the festival will feature more than 30 craft booth vendors offering homemade items such as clothing, jewelry and other specialty items. Other attractions for all ages will include carnival games, a silent auction of assorted gift baskets and prizes galore.
The school’s annual fall festival takes place in conjunction with the communitywide Gladefest event, so a number of other festivities will also be taking place in Gladeville that day.
As always, the streets will be lined with a variety of food vendors offering barbecue, hamburgers, hot dogs, frozen treats and more. Gladefest will also feature an antique classic car/truck show, a 5-K run and children’s inflatables at the Gladeville office of Wilson Bank & Trust.
