Every minute of every day, our precious world and community loses another precious person. These are the precious people who have passed away and went on to a better place. The precious memories we'll carry and cherish forever. The friendships, laughs, smiling faces, personal belongings and even the scent of the person will live forever in our hearts and minds.
Our community loses a precious someone every day. It's part of life, but it should also remind us of the importance of living each and every day to the very fullest and to the very best of our ability. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. That's why we must take time to smell the roses, enjoy fellowshipping with our family and friends, call on a relative or visit a loved one and to always be kind to one another. There are thousands of human beings going through tough times this very moment. Lives and families are being changed every minute of every day.
It breaks my heart every time I see a family going through the tragic loss of a family member or friend. Seeing these tragic losses reminds me of the true fragileness of life. It also encourages me and reminds me to not take life for granted. We have the best of citizens, and I personally consider the residents of Mt. Juliet one big family. As you say your next prayer, please pray for the families that are going through tough times after losing a loved one or friend.
As we all know, life is much too short to waste one single minute of it. Make sure you tell your family and friends how much you love them each and every day.
