Set for Saturday, Dec. 10, Granville's Country Christmas will offer holiday musical performances by the Cookeville-based Indus Band as well as the Cookeville Community Folk Orchestra. SUBMITTED

Saturday's 18th annual Historic Granville Country Christmas will feature a day of Christmas music at the Granville United Methodist Church.

The first performance, set for 11 a.m., is entitled "1930s Christmas to Remember" and will be performed by the Granville United Methodist Church Choir with special guest vocalist Carolyn Cathey of Lebanon. The group has taken part in the event for many years and is known for its great performances.

At 1 p.m., the well-known Cookeville Community Folk Orchestra will perform a Christmas Sing-Along Concert. The group is known throughout the Upper Cumberland for its concerts and has performed for the past two years at the Granville Outdoor Dinner Theatre. The group is expected to bring Christmas memories to life in a grand fashion.

Then, at 3 p.m., Cookeville-based Indus Band will perform the day's third concert. Indus brings an eclectic mix of jazz, blues, folk and Americana and will perform a unique blend of Christmas and Americana for all to enjoy.

Organizers say Granville Country Christmas will also be a great day to visit the 2016 Christmas in Granville celebration, which features the Festival of Trees, Tour of the 1880 Sutton Home decorated in White House fashion, an Antique Toy Show, food, a parade at 2 p.m., Santa's Workshop, children's rides, shopping and more.
