Granville Fall Celebration features Jazz on the Cumberland

The Granville Fall Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 3 will feature Jazz on the Cumberland on the banks of the Cumberland River at Granville Veterans Park in Granville. 

This annual event of Jazz will begin at noon with the Jackson County High School Jazz Band performing. “The Big Band Sound” will perform at 12:30 p.m.., The Blues Brokers will perform at 2 p.m. and the Cumberland University Jazz Band will perform at 3:15 p.m. There will be two stages set up so each band will immediately start after the other one ends. This is one of Tennessee’s most beautiful settings for the musical event, organizers said. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own chairs.

The Granville Fall Celebration will also feature Granville Quilt Festival, Porches & Quilts Storytelling, Arts Festival, Blacksmith Festival, Dedication of Upper Cumberland Quilt Trail, Dedication of the Civil War Trail Monument and Reenactment, World War II Maneuvers Program and Reenactment and much more.
