Harold Hallman, 89

WATERTOWN -- Graveside services with military honors were held Thursday, March 31 at Mt. Vernon Cemetery for Mr. Hallman, 89, of the Statesville Community.
A Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II, he died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro.
Mr. Hallman worked in construction and was a Methodist in belief.
Survivors include: his wife of 67 years Ruth Rollins Hallman of Statesville; daughter Connie McPeak of Statesville; daughter-in-law, Linda Hallman of Sevierville; grandchildren Jeremy (Beth) McPeak of Statesville, Lori (Dan) Major of Norene, Shannon Parker of Watertown and Jeff Hallman of Statesville; grandchildren's mother Kendra Hallman of Statesville; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons, Collin and Carson Donald; brother Joe Hallman of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son Dewayne "Skeeter" Hallman; parents Silas and Etme Hallman; siblings Louise Stone, Davis and Silas Hallman, Jr.
