Hastings earns annual Chris Price Award

LEBANON -- Rising seventh grader Jeremiah Hastings was the recipient of the fifth annual Chris Price Award / Scholarship presented Saturday, July 26 by the family of the late two-sport Lebanon High athlete Chris Price.

The presentation was held at the James E. Ward Ag. Center as part of the Wilson County Black History Committee’s celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Movement.

Hastings is a four-time LYB all-star and is a member of the 2014 Dixie "O" Zone state champion Lebanon Americans. Hastings and his teammate will be playing in the "O" Zone World Series Saturday, Aug. 9 in Lexington, SC.
