Historic Granville hosting "Journey to the Promised Land"

The second annual "Journey to the Promised Land" play at Historic Granville on May 6 and 7 will feature a group of actors from Middle Tennessee. The outdoor musical play, penned by Granville native Ogeal Halfacre Webster and directed by Bill Green and Brenda Curtis, tells the story of settlers from Granville County, N.C. and their journey to Granville, Tenn. The play features a great Southern dinner served from 5:30 until 7 p.m., with the play beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and include dinner. They can be purchased by calling (931) 653-4151.
