The Making of Smashville
Hockey fans -- take note. Cumberland University graduate Justin Bradford and author of "NASHVILLE PREDATORS - The Making of Smashville" of will be the featured guest Thursday, Nov. 5 at "CU Connect".
Plans call for a book talk by the author, a question and answer session and book signing.
The free event will start at 6 p.m. at the Vise Library and is open to the public.
Bradford's effort is being published by The History Press -- a division of Arcadia Publishing.
He has included extensive interviews with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, former coaches Barry Trotz, Mitch Korn and Lane Lambert, General Manager David Poile, Predators commentator Terry Crisp, Nashville Predators President & COO Sean Henry, Tomas Vokoun, Scott Walker, Cliff Ronning, Peter Laviolette, Filip Forsberg and many more.
Bradford, a graduate of Franklin High School, is the host of "Penalty Box radio" on 102.5 The Game covering the Predators, University of Alabama-Huntsville hockey and serving as the public address announced for Vanderbilt's club hockey team.
He also also worked as the public address announcer for Cumberland University football since 2008.
Giveaways and door prizes will be available, including Predators tickets, an autographed copy of the book -- signed by the Bradford and Pete Weber, who penned the foreward.
Books will be available for purchase at the event for $20 -- cash and credit cards will be accepted.
